GETTING STARTED IS AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3!
Rally Foundation
About the program:
This introductory class presents the basic skills needed for success in the Rally ring. Using fun, positive training techniques, this class will build teamwork between handler and dog in a supportive environment. This class will introduce you and your furry teammate to all the Rally Novice stations and will start running mini courses. All stations are performed on-leash at this level.
NOTE: For those of you with some novice Rally experience, we'll review some Intermediate level signs.

This class is a great way for you and your dog to have a fun opportunity keep working (and playing!) as a team. An interest in competing is not a requirement for this class. But, Rally trials will be discussed for those who are.

Requirements:

Your dog must know the following commands: sit, stay, heel, and down (don't worry, these don't need to be perfect).

You dog must be able to remain in a crate at times while other handlers run the course.

Please note that we'll be training with distractions to work on focus (for the dog) and a calm mind (for the handler).
Class Fee:

Enrollment – five consecutive weekly 50-minute class meetings at your designated day/time.

Note: This class will typically promote through the levels in this same time slot.
